5,500-Year-Old Stone Age Axe Found in Denmark

Following the discovery of the 5000-year-old human footprints, archeologists have unearthed another prehistoric artifact, a Stone Age axe from the ongoing dig in the island of Lolland, Denmark. The discovered Stone Age flint axe appears to have been well preserves as it was found with its wooden handle still intact. Researchers believe this age to be at least 5,500-years-old.
